Gallery 80808/Vista Studios, 808 Lady Street in downtown Columbia is proud to start the art season with this exciting exhibition of fine art featuring several local, award winning artists: Bob Manown, Charley Adams, Howard Hunt, Bonnie Goldberg, Warren Brussee, Taryn Shekitka, David West and introducing Malena Georgieva, a Bulgarian photographer coming most recently from New York City.
Drawings, paintings, and photography will be displayed throughout the main gallery, atrium, and the hallways. The opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, August 13 from 6 PM until whatever time it ends!

Malena Georgieva
Malena Georgieva received her certificate in Interior Design from NYU. She also attended Parsons School of Design’s Continuing Education program’s Fabrics for Interiors. This interest in art and design came after an impressive financial career in New York City ; Dallas Texas ; and Vienna , Austria . After receiving an Industrial Management degree in her native Bulgaria , she continued studies in finance at the University of New Haven , receiving a MS degree in 1996. Most recently, Georgieva worked as a Vice President /Hedge Fund Analyst for Bank of America.
